With a Men's team firmly established in the National League, Manchester Handball Club is now actively working on the development of its Women/girls's section.
The club objectives are as follow:
- Give exposure to the sport in a friendly environment and attract individuals who have not played the game previously, and who want to try a new team sport in Manchester.
- Give an opportunity for experienced handball players to get back into the sport.
- Develop grass root and leisure handball, arrange friendly matches and tournaments with other North West teams.
- Register a Senior Women's team (16-40 years old) with the England Handball Association to participate in competitive handball when a sufficient number of players is reached.
For season 2010/2011, the scheduled sessions are as follow:
